Mother nature’s monument. I love how the “sky” or backdrop is completely white, makes mother nature stand out even more. I’m guessing it’s a hill of some sort?
Hi Mabel, Its called Devils Tower, there are many theories about how this came about, one is that it was an ancient volcano, this is the remnants of the inside of the volcano, the outside has been eroded by wind and weather. If you ever saw the film “Close encounters of the third kind” where a spaceship landed and communicated with us earthlings at this point. I was most dissapointed when we visited there wasn’t an alien to be seen anywhere. Ian.
Thanks for that, Ian. Devils Tower. There could be valuable volcano rock around there. I wouldn’t have guessed that at all. Haha, you have a great sense of humour there. Perhaps aliens did pay a visit there, before you visited and left special rocks behind at the base of the volcano. You never know.
