Photo Challenge. Unexpected 4.
As I was walking across a bird sanctuary suddenly a flock of starlings took to the air, they were swooping twisting and turning, I hoped they would fly along the coastline but as usual they stayed inland. I managed to shoot the picture across the reed beds. The other picture was shafts of orange light which suddenly appeared through the clouds, this was where I was hoping the starlings would fly.

Fantastic!!
wow, those birds!!
Hi thanks for the comments, I was hoping they would fly along the coast where there was some beautiful skies but as usual they remained inland, I managed to get this single shot across the reed beds. But I wont be beaten, back there next week. All the best, Ian.
They make amzazing contrast with the blues sky… Nice capture! I hope you don’t mind I rebloged one of your posts. I really like your photography. 🙂
I had taken my dog for a walk around a local bird sanctuary and the starlings took to the air swooping and turning, there was a beautiful view looking out over a river and I was hoping they would fly along the shore, as usual they decided they were not going in that direction so I had to make do with the view across the reedbeds, luckily the final result didn’t look too bad.
Too bad? It is beautiful 🙂
