Ahhhh! Wordsworth wandered in the Lake District, while I wandered in Wentwood 1949-1955. Autumn is beautiful and spring, who could ever forget the bluebells. With great hiraeth – Phyllis
I like the comparison, yes it is beautiful in the spring and autumn, my dog and I went for a walk last week and all the leaves have turned a beautiful golden brown, I love the area and the walks, as the seasons pass every visit is different, the colours, flowers, birds and animals change so much. I am very lucky to have such nice places to walk. All the best, Ian.
Ian, I’d like to buy one of your Wentwood prints. Because of ill health I am unable to come home again, and that breaks my heart. So a picture of Wentwood, where generations of my late mother’s family have walked will be a constant reminder. Can you contact me with sizes, cost and postage to New Zealand on len_phyllis@vodafone.co.nz please.
